Spanish

What is Spanish?

We are one of only two schools in the South West with a qualified teacher of the Spanish Dance Society.

There are 3 forms of Spanish dancing. The best known is flamenco. While concentrating on flamenco students also learn the other two forms; regional and classical. Classes comprise of castanets, footwork, palmas (or clapping) and a dance to put it all together.

A new beginners class will be starting in September. Please phone Melissa for details.

Our last Spanish exam session results (Dec 2005): 24 Distinction (80-100%) 17 Merit (60-80%) 0 Pass (40-60%)

In our recent exam session we had outstanding results.
The examiner came over from Spain and was very complementary about our work.

Special mention must go to 4 students who got over 90%:
