Teachers

At Bev-Lyn we feel it is vital that all our teachers are properly qualified.

Therefore as well as having a huge wealth of dance experience as professional dancers, all our teachers have done at least 3 years of dance teacher training and exams.

As members of the Royal Academy of Dance, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and Spanish Dance Society our teachers are required to attend regular courses to ensure that they keep their skills and knowledge at the highest level. We also run our own in-house training.

We have noticed an increasing amount of “schools” being set up where unqualified students are teaching classes under the name of another teacher.

We would like to reassure our parents that we will never allow this.

All classes are run by fully qualified staff and are joined by at least one teaching assistant.

The government are currently looking at ensuring all dance teachers are licensed and registered, a move we welcome.
